I have recently started my own web design service and have created my own website. I will be evaluating the website www.ohsik.com. The website has a simple design but it is visually appealing enough to attract people. It also has a lot of functions that people can use.

The website design is really simple and clean. The main page has an Ohsik.com logo on the upper left and below the links there are floral designs I designed myself. The main page is designed to look peaceful and the colors and patterns are mellow. This is important because it puts the visitor at ease. Many other websites offering similar services have a very bland business oriented setup. This can make a company feel boring and unexciting which definitely doesn’t help sell their product. Most consumers prefer to feel at ease and intrigued when purchasing something. I feel that this is conveyed at Ohsik.com.


In the middle, there are 6 options to choose from which ohsik.com, design, half of story, contact and leave your message. If you click the ohsik.com link it provides a detailed mission statement and what services are offered. Examples of the products are shown when you click the various options. If you would like to order any of the services, each example has a link you can click to write what you would like.

The design link will open a page that offers options for marketing, web design, and graphic design. People want websites for different reasons and this can link people to what they are more in need of. Advertisers would pick marketing, businesses would use web design, and graphic design is for people that would like to spice up their existing website or create a company logo. Each page has portfolios with simple explanation that people can look. People can also easily find the quote form right next to portfolios. If they have any questions or comments they can ask them right away.

Right now, it does not have anything really good. I know no one wants to buy anything in this page. However, someday this page will overflow by really good designs.

The Leave a Message page allows people to actually write a message with uploading images and video. People can also reply others comment. It works like a Google blogger.

Overall, I feel the website is good. It is simple and easy to use, and can help someone who has no web design experience to find what they need. It is still a relatively new website and does exactly what it has to do. My final goal in my life is making the biggest design company in the world. This is the thing that I can do right now to accomplish that. I always try to update my website. I hope that one day this website will become popular. In order to achieve that, I need to learn more about what people need and improve my skills.
